Hello, I live in Bengaluru, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in AI & Data Science, hacking on whatever I find interesting. If you’d like to know more about what I’m working on, my portfolio is your best bet.

I’ve been writing online ever since I was in 8th grade in some shape or form. I started on WordPress with a naive dream of making it big as a writer. I idled on this dream more when I wrote small snippets of short stories and long form fiction, ran D&D campaigns and spent absurd amounts of time suffering from worldbuilder’s syndrome. Over time, I started drifting away from that past and found a lot of those same joys in software and understanding the intricacies of the computers, and here we are.

I’m a huge film nerd, and I occasionally post reviews on Letterboxd. I enjoy thinking about why they work and why they move us so deeply. I love watching video essays especially Every Frame A Painting and any of their contemporaries. I enjoy wondering why certain pieces of art work when others don’t. I like deconstructing what made a film fail and thinking about what could have been done to fix them.

I’m an Emacs evangelist. It’s a beautiful paradigm for computing, and the process of using it gives me a lot of joy. If you’re a fellow Emacs enjoyer or if you’re Emacs-curious, reach out! While you’re at it, check out my handrolled Emacs config.

I enjoy playing games. I don’t like multiplayer games but there’s so much beauty and joy in single player experiences. My all time favourites include Dishonored, Hollow Knight, Mirror’s Edge and anything touched by Valve.
